Barnsley - only 1 clean sheet home/away since 28th November. Mind you they do score a few.

So we will score at least......won't we????

I predict a 2-0 loss on Saturday. Barnsley are a team we never do well against.

We'll get a goal. Not saying we will win though. Only worry....( among many) is they score a lot of goals in the last 15mins. Which is not our strong point. We'd better get 3 nil up by the 80th min!!

i'd take their defensive frailties over our own defensive issues, lack of goals and failure to see games out.

Couple of comments from Barnsley Forum. Their defence has let in a similar number to us! Lets be positive and expect at least a point there.

7 goals conceded in 2 games and 11 in 4. Quite amazing stats for a team in the promotion race. Good job we are free-scoring.

Bit of a worry as a reds fan watching our schoolboy defending.
We need to put this right starting Saturday.

We have played Barnsley 5 times in our history. Lost all 5, scored 1 and conceded 10.

A battling point will be fantastic on Saturday.

Our defence needs to be water tight. Guess it will be Smith Davies and Bradbury with Long and Ferry.
Wonder if DC will go 4 in the middle and share workload at 1 up top with Lloyd starting then Keena later. Sercs and one other supporting the 1.
That's what I would do as an armchair manager.

I thought we once drew with them at Oakwell with Tony Naylor scoring late in the game.

You are 100% correct.

For some reason I've always thought we lost that game 1-0.

I still think a battling point will be fantastic on Saturday.

Negative I know but I see a 3-0 home win sadly.

2-0 HT
3-0 FT

It sticks in my mind as I was in France on holiday. It was the same night as Newcastle v Sunderland where Ruud Gullit left Alan Shearer on the bench and lost the local derby much to the annoyance of my daughter.

I remember playing summer skittles at the Beaufort - I don't know why I remember that

Accidentally jinxed their strike force by mistake.
