Blimey, that's a bolt from the blue.

That could be a critical or meaningless sub-text come 27 April.

I feel that is very favourable for us as I highly doubt they will have a new manager in place at that point and players will be less motivated.

If nothing else, it'll just be more palatable not having that...person managing the opposition if we go down on that day.

On the other side, they may get a new manager in beforehand who gets a bounce for their last game or two, players showing the new boss what they can do...which would just sum up our luck this season as Stevenage was looking like the most winnable game.

Alex Revell is in interim charge for the final couple of games.

He oversaw their relegation from League 2 a couple of years ago, which they were reprieved from when Macclesfield went bust.

Our own manager will also be thrust further into the limelight if he manages to retain our League One status.
Nobody could begrudge him a move if someone came in for him.
But hey let's worry about Saturday first.

Absolutely fantastic news. I couldn’t stomach him being in the dugout sending us down.

Duff at the game last night. Would like to see his celebration when Curtis lept into the night sky to meet that corner.

He probably tries to claim the goal, himself...
