Summut else that bugs me, the players just walking off at the end of the warm up. Come over to the fans and get us making some noise, like the old days!

Anyway, I'm guessing 4-3-3/4-5-1 today with Ferry and Thomas flanking Taylor. Let's hope it works better than the last time we stayed from 5-3-2 at home...

Obieri preferred to King on the bench  16 I believe. Would be our youngest ever League player.

Good performance that. Williams has chosen a good day to decide he's Ashley Cole

f#!$ Reading. Ankers.

If only someone had taken the runner down. Or Thomas had taken the chance seconds before. Or the ref had given us a second penalty for the foul that looked, from where I am, like it could well have been on the line. At least we have a ref that actually gave us a penalty!!!

Camel, baby deer, donkey...if he pops up with another goal then he can be whichever animal he wants to be.

I think if results stay as they are or we lose then we can safely say we'll be kicking off in League Two in August.

Shade is absolutely right - Davis should've just tripped the bloke up on the half way line. Took the booking 50 yards from goal

Another goal given away. We had something like seven defenders standing there watching their player hit the ball in the net, not one of them went to block the shot. Such poor defending.

It's almost as if they're waiting for our LCB and RCB to get isolated against their wingers - rapid balls from the centre out wide are leaving Shep and Davies one on one and they don't have the pace. This is Harrop's time to shine with 15/20 minutes to go...

Thomas on in the first half again - and not running against tiring defenders🙄

But Thomas one the penalty and should have made it 2-0.

Sercombe stoodright beside nim watched the ball come down then watched him put it in the net without doing anything to try and win the ball. Clown

You can't expect a young guy in his 20s in his first half-season of professional football to be our only major attacking threat. Yes he should have finished it but you expect experienced players like Sercs, Taylor, Bonds, Ferry, Long to create more than what they did...

As competative as we were first half we were poor second half.

Still mathematically possible but, alas, I fear we're going to get what we deserve this season.

Same with the ref. Was fairly good to us first half, and swung right the other way in the second.

Well, it's pretty simple now. Win both games and hope Burton or Cambridge blow their remaining games or it's L2.

Good effort from the players today, we are down but it's been obvious for sometime. I thought Ben Williams was superb today, easilly man of the match before going off injured.

Yeah decent effort today, pretty much did the best we could with the resources available.

My god did Lincoln take shithousery to a new level though! The no 6, 9 and goalkeeper in particular. Read a report from their own fans website that said they did this at Oxford but wasn't quite expecting this high of a level, makes Luke's efforts look amateur!

I hope there's a special level of hell reserved for tossers who taunt the crowd of a club going down when they score, when they've basically had no stick from said crowd. What a anker.

I wondered what that was about, too. I didn't hear him get any abuse from the home crowd in that particular stand, so it would appear that their number nine is, as you say, an anker.

If you’d landed from outer space and watched that game you’d assume it was two limited, but competent, lower half L1 teams, with the lads in pink and black just edging it.

And we had half of our best players out. An incredibly frustrating afternoon.

As I was in the Optimising IT/Prestbury Road stand (the place that Taylor's ire was directed at) all that I can remember was a shout of "Get up" when he went down a bit easily and a laugh at a miscontrol. So lots of "stick" given to him then. Maybe he was euphoric at the quality finish into the top corner and didn't know what to do with himself?

Did hear Joe Nuttall getting dogs abuse again so I'll be in a different stand on Tuesday - as it's counterproductive IMHO 🙄

Nuttall did OK
If he was offered a contract then I think he will tell them where to shove it

Joe's only here on loan - and Oldham are in midtable obscurity - so maybe he'll try his hand there next season?

He's got form for it from when he's scored against other clubs. Appears he's just a prick by the sounds of things.

As others have said, we tried but it just wasn't enough. First half I thought was the best we've played in some time and a lot of players stood up to be counted. Williams was great, Thomas was fantastic and I thought Fez really put himself about.

Taylor tried, but he was so clearly unfit today. How he got through 90 mins I'll never know, but it really seemed like we were playing with 10 players for the last half hour today.

Two huge games to go - we can't give up on them yet.
