Reid not playing for Stevenage. That’s a bonus.

Stevenage twitter seems to suggest a quite strong lineup with no goal threat

Good luck today. Burton losing so you just need a goal.

Seemed to land a bit awkwardly.
About sums up our season.

Was that a penalty? I’m not sure it was but the commentators thought it was.

Yes.

Telling factor was the lack of complaints from our players.

Grrrr, don't deserve to be behind. Penalty was always going to be given.

Still plenty of time to go. It seems clear to me that you are the better footballing team but Stevenage are better on the air. If you can keep it on the floor you have a chance. I don't rate Nuttall based on that?

Ankle. Thankfully we had a reserve keeper on the bench and not a youth team striker.

We had plenty of possession around the goal in that half but didn’t have the necessary quality to finish off the chances. A problem that we’ve had since selling Alfie May for peanuts.

The luck of our season, lose our goalkeeper, who happens to be decent at saving penalties, and then concede a penalty.

What we thinking? Gamble now? Thomas fir Kinsella and go 433?

Can we invoke the spirit of Nene Park? Obvs I'd prefer us to be ahead within the next 15 mins but that would be the ultimate smash and grab. Not just today but the whole season.

1 goal needed, Burton completely done...
This has got late disappointment written all over it. Us all over this season.

I know that I keep banging the drum for AK but there was still a small part of me hoping for a tap in for him. It was there for us - one goal and we'd have stayed up. Curtis, Will and Pett look devastated 😭

God damn hope. We were down weeks ago but at least we have gone out with some pride. Here's to the 2024/25 season. I'll take survival right now, but hopefully we can keep DC and have a go at the play-offs, or better.

Two terrible goals to concede but they gave their all. Desperately disappointed

Sad times but to take it to the wire after we've looked dead and buried multiple times is a great achievement

Gutted. Absolutely gutted. They couldn't have given any more

3 or 4 chances off the line or saved by the keepers foot as well. At the end of the day, today again showed our main problem all season - we haven't been able to score enough goals. Which is ironic as we ended up scoring more than a few teams who wound up safe. And scored more and conceded less than Burton, who should count themselves incredibly lucky we gave them an 11 game head start.

Gutted, they couldn’t have given any more in that game, but as others have said, we didn’t get relegated because of today. We had a mountain to climb after those first 11 games and we almost made it. Hope we can persuade Clarke to stay and Matty Taylor too. His 7 goals in 11 games made such a difference..

Think we’ll have a few years of consolidation in League Two, a bit like after relegation in 2003 and 2009, and building a side that can have a go at the play offs with a “challenging” budget.
Not sure if DC will stay and if he goes whoever comes in will have a tricky job on their hands.
We’ll just have to trust the board to make the right decisions, not a lot us fans can do but just keep supporting the club. I’ll be there in August.
