Would be good if we can persuade these two to stay. Sercombe should be able to get 20 goals at least in League 2 right ? πŸ˜‰

Just so long as he's not top scorer...I don't want a midfielder being top scorer...

Good news on those two. If we can get them to sign quickly along with Pett seemingly staying on, that would give us a pretty solid nucleus of a squad to tackle League 2 next season.

Also interesting that DC is still very much leading this process so perhaps talk of him walking away are a little premature? Fingers crossed anyway!

These are the two most important ones for me. We need leadership and experience going into next season.

Hopefully if we can keep Taylor fit the omens are good. 7 in 11 with a dodgy hamstring bodes well for us next season in a lower league!

Agreed.

Always been surprised that Sercs has only seemingly had one year contracts recently with no trigger options for an extension.

Hope this guy is correct!

L2 definitely looks weaker next season, for sure. Prob
Ably the weakest it's been for several years. Still some big clubs there, though, who may awaken from their slumber.

Despite the recent negativity we have a solid core of experience and potential seemingly signed on for next season. If we can add a creative midfielder, a couple of forwards, with a good keeper and Clarke stays we could have a positive season.

Definitely, hopefully Bradbury and Williams can be extended and then it looks a matter of filling in the few missing pieces and rounding out the squad than a total overhaul
