Before everyone gets carried away at a ‘loss’, remember we probably have a retained profit from previous years so it will sound worse than it is.
As some one else mentioned we had investments such as the training ground (if that is in these accounts) and higher bills.

Re: Wigan Athletic v Cheltenham Town
“Set to report a significant loss for the last financial year, full details on the way in the coming days.” Not the news I wanted to read, thank you. Good gates, Goodwin sold, where did the money go? Unless paying off Elliot was expensive Do you know anything about accounting, clearly not! The acco...

Re: The board
It’s a sore subject I know but if you’re looking at adding a hotel and conferencing etc. then the best place really would be the Golden Valley/GCHQ area with the new cyber area. Plenty of visitors to that area who could use it and do an offer to watch a match.

Wrong thread Shade?! [emoji23]Shade wrote:I'm still staggered Huddersfield took him. I mean, I loved the guy while he was playing for us but he was never Championship standard. And now it seems he's barely L2 standard anymore (not that I've watched him play at all since he left us).

Re: The board
DB has previously spoken openly on Radio Glos about hopefully developing the ground. It was when he first took over IIRC. As someone else mentioned, the money isn’t there to suddenly develop the ground. However now we own Seasons we can use that for generating non-Matchday revenue. The bar is alread...

Goals are definitely worth a rewatch https://youtu.be/DC-Ygjqov1U?si=4ghNZU6jTbYvnAlt All three goals were things of beauty. What’s really pleasing is we are not just relying on strikers to get the goals. We are no longer cautious about pushing everyone into the oppositions defence, which hugely in...

The board get a lot of stick but they got the appointment of DC absolutely spot on. And with buying the training ground, we have another solid, trustworthy board, something a lot of clubs can only wish for. Looking at the way we’ve been playing, who knows where we could be next season if we stay up ...

Be interesting to know who courted the young lad. I’m guessing it was between Jerry Gill and Rusty, but even if so and he’s sold for a decent sum in the future, you heard it here first that Rusty won’t get any praise for it.
