Re: Deadline day departure

Great move for him. Nearer home and a longer deal. It must have been on the cards which is why we signed Kinsella. One of the m/f would have been in the stand so sensible all round. I liked Curtis ,hopefully Kinsella will be as good. Not sure if you did geography in school Horlick but Grimsby to No...

If Luke doesn’t want to extend his contract, how about Lucas at Maidstone. Very good yesterday. Darrell had him at Port Vale- it didn't end well. He almost single- handedly cost them getting into the play offs. Seen him a few times- when he's good he's very good, but when he's bad .. oh dear. Ah di...

What I find strange is a few Cheltenham fans saying this will tarnish his legacy. When he was your manager several of your fans used to come and support us occasionally. It's hardly crossing the Old Firm divide, is it. For the younger fans you have become our biggest rival, older fans will look mor...

That Simon Hacker did the same on his article on Punchline email yesterday too. Not a mention of us.

Got to say it’s pretty pathetic and sad for a ‘professional’ club. Shame the negative publicity never sticks but all the bull positives do.

They don’t ordinarily but in football normal tax laws go out the window. I would assume it comes under Corporation Tax but there may be a special case that we’re not aware of.

I know Malabus is doing a bit but just for anyone who didn’t realize - there’s no 45% tax on transfers. Oxford will need to pay 5% of the fee to the EFL as part of registration, and 20% VAT to the exchequer… Cheltenham’s capital gain here is assessed as part of their annual P&L, which will be s...
