Re: May
Let him go and advance his game and career in the Championship or at a top L1 club. He’s nearly 30 after all. I wish him the best. This is what I think. Been a great servant and I’ve loved having him but if he wants to go then good luck to him. I’d say wrexham will be favourite but if not then top ...

What a chump. He’s fooled Dale and he’s got loads of money - he hasn’t got a clue

Re: Cheltenham Town v Forest Green Rovers
For me Sercs was MOTM, Caleb was his usual rock solid safe. Bonds continue to bloom, Broom stepped up today but at times looks to take on one too many and undoes all his great work. However to a man today they looked the part. A special nod to Long, it must be hard when the opposition think you are...

Re: Cheltenham Town v Forest Green Rovers
Well done lads. We’ve seen the team battle hard up against the odds a lot this season but FGR were utterly appalling. I genuinely felt sorry for them first half - they’ve had the c!#p kicked out of them. Duncan Ferguson clueless, they were just rubbish. Bottom end league two/mid conference I’d sugge...

Re: Ticket allocation for FGR
We may not hit it due to FGR not turning up so - what’s the highest HOME attendance? In recent times I’m going to nominate Halifax at home in the National League season. We had half the Hazlewoods for that game. 5143 home fans (plus 102 from Halifax). Any advance on that? I think it will be very cl...

Re: Ticket allocation for FGR
It’s one of the most remarkable feats of self-delusion, but on the FGR forum you’ve still got fans sticking up for BD. ‘Give him til Xmas’; ‘he’s proven quality’. He has never proven quality. He comes across well on radio and I like him. But he has never managed before and he’s (statistically) surel...

Re: Ticket allocation for FGR
I see block 8 is on sale for us now. FGR obviously not selling well (tbf I don’t blame them, I wouldn’t look forward to a visit to us in their position).
Not many seats left. Will be break 6,000 I wonder?

Re: Average attendances this season and next
The key is swapping ends. We never sell our our ticket allocation, and away fans would be happy to stand with block one of Colin Farmer for those who need to sit. It’s much more natural for us to have the CF, whaddon road end and old stand. We don’t NEED to build more capacity at present, just organ...

I’m so sad to retire from the robins nest. It had been fun but as I’ve got something wrong (for first time ever) I need to walk away. I hope RCS and confused? manage to work out their issues. This is exciting for me - remember when cotterell would improve the squad year on year, and so players would leave that we didn’t have a bad word to say about them it’s just we replaced them with better?? I think this is what’s happening now. Raglan is a great player, a great man and good club man a...

Re: 88 days; 2 hours; 40 minutes
I think we can safely say that the title of this thread is inaccurate, and Ben overestimated our ability at this level. Which was nice of him tbf. I don’t know what you’re talking about…I fully stand by my prediction! It’s almost guaranteed I would say. Two wins for FGR coming up and one point for ...

Re: Cheltenham Town v Ipswich Town
Am I missing something? Did Williams cost us a goal or something today? No. Just this season’s fall guy. Always has to be one or two targets a season for the fans who have to have a player to blame/moan about. And it’s almost always the left back due to playing in front of the Colin farmer stand. I...

Re: Cheltenham Town v Ipswich Town
Ipswich were ok. If I was one of their fans I’d be extremely embarrassed by the fifteen minutes of ‘we are top of the league’ - they were euphoric at being 0-1 up away at Cheltenham town! They were slightly better than us but for a club that size it must be a huge disappointment to be not-very-good....

Re: Lincoln City v Cheltenham Town
Our best player wasn’t playing (Jackson). We really are overly reliant on him as he does two jobs (a good defender and clearly our best attacking player). With broom in midfield Jackson can get us back up to 11 players - without him we’re severely limited I reckon we’ll get a point against Ipswich....

Wowsers. What a team; what a manager; what a season.
Ipswich should’ve won but I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again - if that’s top of the league/nine in a row - we’re not far off

Re: Cheltenham Town v Ipswich Town
Everyone should be extremely proud of the club, what a great effort at half time
I’d put long to right wing back and get Taylor on. I won’t mention who but one player is having an absolute mare (as every week). So frustrating playing each week with 10 players

If my calculations are correct then FGR need to pick up 3 points on Oxford before we play them on the 22nd to mean we’ll put the final nail in their coffin. Looking at fixtures this is eminently possible

Re: Cheltenham Town v Burton Albion
My thoughts from that dire show, Olayinka absolutely rubbish, sercombe showing no passion whatsoever he’s in space when defending looking lost, then never wants it when we’re pressing forward. Why we’re playing a defensive mid with James and sercs middle is beyond me, 5 at the back with 3 centre ba...
