Re: Open comment to the board
Missed opportunities
Sums up quite a lot about our club.
On the pitch
In the back room
And up stairs
Our season was doomed partly due to good people moving on. Why did they move on?
Lack of ambition maybe?
Probably the same reason DC will walk.
And round and round we go

Big powerful old fashion target man.
Transformed in 5 games.
Bring it on.
Very happy with his rapid improvement.
ROI better than 1 in 40!

Re: Tom King
I'm baffled why Tom King has not been used as an impact sub. Ive seen him play in the youth team. He would provide more of an attacking threat that some other players on the bench and a couple on the pitch! Why is age such a restriction? If your good enough your old enough. May as well play him befo...

I was not Davis biggest fan when he joined us.
Davis has lost a yard or two.
But he does his talking on the pitch.
I have a lot of respect for men that back up their words

It's good to have a healthy local rivalry. I'm shrewsbury born and breed. My lad could chant 'we all follow the shrewsbury...over lad and sea..AND WREXHAM' Before his 7th birthday. My hope is he passes it down the generation s. I've lived in Cheltenham for 30 years and have red blood. But still get ...

Confidence is shot to peices again. That much is clear. That's why the players revert to hoff ball. Was interesting when Taylor came on ...he was demanding the ball. Which is what we needed. Players that want the ball show for the ball demand the ball. Once the game was gone we started playing with ...

It gets boring to blame the officials all the time but today was the same. No consistency.
I cant remember any of the past 3 seasons being this bad...every game. Not just a couple of descions.

I think one of the Nests sub menu sums it up quite nicely.
Non Footy (our season) ...Jokes (most officials at WR)...Etc (Soloum words from DC after the match)
I came to terms with it on Tuesday.
I must admit it made today more bearable.

Re: Cheltenham Town v Carlisle United
Nuttall was not the scape goat for Tuesday far from it. I think he's improving. The entire team served that one up. Let's be honest though DC has been playing the percentages for quite a few games with the diagonal ball nonsense....that produces very little. One would assume on that basis hes consid...

Re: Cheltenham Town v Carlisle United
I find it very strange to get in a target man that can't jump or can't head!
Maybe he's good at making daisy chains.
WTF
If all our strikers are clearly usless why can't DC at least give King half an hour?
Before we swap him for more Nuts!

I was at the game.
The ironic jeers he received were in in sarcastic jest.
One of the tallest and most athletic players on the pitch only won 2 headers...both unopposed.
My 14 year old daughter would best him in the air.
I became frustrated too...when he stopped jumping!

Re: Cheltenham Town v Carlisle United
Now the dust has settled......
The crowd wanted more than the players.
(Taken from another tread on here)
Not for the first time.
When you sell all your strikers for peanuts...don't be surprised if you can't score.
We have played most of the season with no Strikers.
Very sad.

DC has proved he is shrewd in the Market. Pett, Kinsella, and Taylor (who I admit moaned about when he came in and proved me wrong). DC said in a recent interview he is working on finding the Nuttall of 4 years ago. We have seen glimpses. I like the fact he is big strong and aggressive. He needs to ...
