Re: Cheltenham Town v Ipswich Town
Enjoyed today. Draw a fair result. Nice finish from May. Hopefully Ferry starts for the rest of the season over Williams. Importantly, a third consecutive season in League One awaits. Lovely Makes me wonder whether Hutchinson should be Ferry's backup next season. I don't ever recall him letting us ...

No but pleasing to see him doing well. As the poster above says, it would be interesting to see him and Freestone in defence together, perhaps with Bradbury in the middle…?

Would be great to see him make his pro debut before the end of this season. Seems to be a very versatile player too. A good prospect.

Re: Alfie May interest
I'd be disappointed to see him go to Wrexham. It's no closer to his home than Cheltenham is and it doesn't further his career or legacy whatsoever. Individually it would be good for him but it would be a shame to see. tbf there's no reason why he wouldn't be banging them in for rexham in league two...

Big thanks to whoever threw that flare on and gave us a three minute breather to sort our heads - just what we needed, then we go up their end and score! Reminded me of Swindon in the FA Cup 4 or so years ago when they went wild and let a pyro off just for us to go down the other end and score. Goo...

He's been our best ball winner because he's been our only ball winner. He has only ever had a handful of 7/10 performances for us. I'm not a huge fan but he's young so hopefully comes good.

A midfield of Bonds, Sercombe and Rea would be nice. Broom is a proper Jekyll and Hyde player. Sometimes he looks like an average League 1 player and sometimes he looks Whaddon Rec standard. Less said about Perry the better.

Re: so what to do
My view is and has been for a long time the following… 1- We will stay up. It’ll be close but we will. 2- Wade Elliot is not the man to take us forward as a club. He absolutely does not inspire confidence and he hasn’t tried to build a connection with the fans. As long as Wade is here we will always...

Re: Wade Elliott after defeat at Bolton Wanderers
The bloke just doesn't inspire me. He doesn't talk well and his interviews are a bore. Even if we stay up, I can't see him taking the club beyond 17th or so. Granted, the recruitment has been poor along with some players in the squad who were, in my opinion, wrongly given contracts. I don't think he...

Re: Bolton Wanderers v Cheltenham Town
It’s annoying because I could accept us losing to the likes of Bolton, Plymouth, Derby et al if we’d done well against the poorer teams in the league yet we lost to The Gas (2x), Morecambe, Burton, Them up the Hill. Need to get 5/6 points from these next three. Sooner the three new signings are matc...

Sound an interesting / exciting signing Only one slight nagging doubt. If League of Ireland doesn’t start for 3 weeks, is he still relatively early in his pre-season and will he be match for? Guess one could argue he will be fresh legs. One of the things I noticed. Their first pre season game isn't...

We had the chance to consign them to irrelevancy in 2018 and we know how that went. Perhaps we will have that chance to do the same to them in April, or perhaps they’ll have the chance to do that to us! I predict a sell out, as the Kaiser Chiefs song goes.

May will go in the summer. No chance he goes this month. Someone would have to offer a million for him at this stage in the season and no one in their right mind would do that. He will go in the summer and I’ll wish him the very best.

Obviously it’s not the most inspiring signing where it’s clear that he will make the defence stronger but he’s good in the air and has experience in the football league. It’s that or a ‘virginal’, for want of a better word, loan like Caleb Taylor where it might come off but it might not. I would lik...

I find it concerning how much we seem to struggle against relegation rivals. I remember in the 18/19 season how, while the performances were generally worse, we had an excellent record against the other dross and I could tell as early as November (after beating N County 3-0 at Meadow LN) that there ...

If only the local rugby club could follow Worcester and Wasps into administration, we might actually get the crowds and local interest to advance the football club. Of course, I shouldn’t wish ill on such a local asset but the club (and the less desirables elsewhere in the county) would undoubtedly...

Astounds me that he was given a contract till 2024. He looked average even in League Two. One of a number of poor recruitment decisions. Hopefully not more of the same in the coming month.

That’s supposed to be Taylor Perry I suppose but he hasn’t been great this season (been out for a while in fairness!). He’s no Callum Wright that’s for sure. We have missed a link between the midfield and the forwards this season so not a bad shout.
