Re: League One here we come?!
I'm hoping that the idea of PPG & playoffs was to make the decision less contentious for most clubs. Far easier to then resolve the final promotion place, if playoffs can't be completed. My own view, regardless of our position, is that playoffs shouldn't go ahead, and I don't really see how they...

Re: Playoffs
If we haven't got to play for the top 3 then I don't see why we should have to play the play offs. PPG throughout the league and promote/ relegate based on that. Its the only fair way to do it. I know 5/6/7th place will feel hard done by but I cannot see another way around it Agree with that. We're...

Re: Concerning news from government and advisors?
There's no guarantee that next season could be completed so, as others have said, finish this season first. We'll be in a better position later to decide whether next season is viable or not, or if perhaps, some form of condensed competition could be held instead.

With the possibility that social distancing may be required for the rest of the year (at least), not only is it likely that we can't complete this season, but it throws next season into doubt, as well! We can complete this season next year if needed. That's actually not a bad idea. Biggest is...

I thought Doyle Hayes was good, Clements just not mobile and good enough defensively. Thought D-H had a good game too. Clements frustrates me. Overall, I didn't think he had a bad game, winning the ball back on numerous occasions. However, his first thought always seems to be to play the ball backw...

My heart sank the second I saw who the referee was. Booed off last time at WR for a completely one-sided performance, and not much different yesterday. FGR's second goal looked well offside from where I was, but need to see the video to be sure. Also, I don't know if our disallowed goal should have ...

MD named Manager of the Month, JG named EFL Young Player of the Month, but not a mention of either on Football Focus. What was the point of the interview? Can't say that I was very impressed by what I saw - seemed a bit too lightweight. However, I was hoping that he'd get another chance in the friendlies to show what he can do. Will have to rely on Duffo to make a decision based upon how he does in training now. A bit concerned about his availability ...

We've only just got the pitch back to lasting pretty well through a full season and using it to good effect by playing attractive football. If we were to start another ground share then we might as well sign up for 2500 crowds and relegation again. I would seriously consider not renewing my season ...

All players are inconsistent, especially at league one level, but I find Sam Jones one of the most baffling of all time: On occasions he looks much too good for this level, but then at other times his heart or mind appear to be elsewhere. If MD can work his magic and resolve this dichotomy then, in...

We've had that ref quite a few times here and he is absolutely awful, look at him he's not even fit enough . Surely ref's should attain a minimum level of fitness to be able to do the job properly. By all accounts the worst performance of the season today. A new manager needed ASAP. Not the way I saw the game. I don't think we've finished signing players, yet? Or did I miss the loan window closing? With Duku's injury, I agree we are light on strikers. I know I have said it before and no doubt will say it again, but with Danny Wright, Holman, Odelusi set to leave we needed to sign one if not two strikers irrelevant of Mo leaving. We did. How do you know they didn't have experienced replacements lined up? If we did have replacements lined up (not just one) but still failed to sign anyone, then it's likely that we left it far too late and they went to other clubs. If this was the case, we shouldn't have sold Mo. I can understand the ...

It was worse under Allen, Gould, Buckle and Yates in my opinion but it's still not acceptable. Playing only one striker at home, especially against lower teams, shows a complete lack of ambition. We won 3-0 the previous week with the same formation. If we'd played a different formation and come up with the same result (we ended the game 4-4-2, btw, and didn't look much more threatening) then...
