Just to explain the thinking behind it, when the draw was made the two clubs agreed to charge Havant and Waterlooville's normal match day prices for both the initial game and any replay.

Re: who is the defender in this photo?

Yes, must apologise. Those articles take a bit of time to research and write and I've had a lot of other things to do lately. We will bring some historical stuff back to the programme and website, though. I've recently taken delivery of four boxes of colour photos from the 1990s which can be put to ...

I've been working on the photo archive recently so will hopefully dig out a few things from around then when it's all organised. A few observations on that picture: Versions of the red with white arms and Robin motif kit was worn from the resumption of football in 1945 until the early 1950s In the b...

Re: who is the defender in this photo?

I'm fairly sure the defender is Frank Allcock - signed from Aston Villa and later joined Bristol Rovers. The picture would date from some time between 1948 and 1952 when Ron Coltman was in the team prior to joining Gloucester City.

Re: Forest Green Away

Just to add to the points made by the police and Forest Green Rovers above, the National League has no regulation requiring a home club to offer a minimum percentage of tickets to the opposition (in the Football League it's 10% and the FA Cup 15%). However, our allocation at the New Lawn works out a...

This is what happened: The covers were on. Frost got under the covers. The frost took a long time to thaw. The referee wanted to see the thaw was significant before making a decision. The decision was made at 1pm. I was out there forking the pitch myself with another director, the PA announcer and t...

Re: Will we see CTFC in Brazil?

Very few flags have been seen on tv as very few have been put up in the stadiums due to the lack of anywhere to tie them. The FIFA 'matchday experience' involves such things as making it as difficult as possible to get into the ground and then denying all opportunities to create an authentic footbal...

Clearly this poll has to be taken with a pinch of salt if people are able to vote more than once (although this applies to both supporters and opponents of the manager). It's interesting I think that Cardiff City and Hull City supporters are up in arms because their new(ish) owners want to get rid of their traditional names and colours yet we're talking about doing exactly that. Next season it will be back to red and white (I'm lucky enough to have seen the new kit ...

Re: Mark Yates after the 2-0 home defeat by Scunthorpe Unite

Seems to me that if we've been guilty of anything it's not explaining things properly. The club has played in red and white since the early part of the 20th century and has been known as The Robins since the 1940s. The ruby kit was a one-off that, in my view, should not have been continued for two e...

I've explained all this before. The playing budget has INCREASED over the season. Managers make decisions over players. Sometimes they come off and sometimes they don't. Re: Red & White.

The kit worn in the County Cup tie is not the new first team kit. That one will be launched before the start of next season. The youth team needed a new kit so the Robins Trust funded an 'off-the-shelf' one and this was used in the County Cup match against Gloucester.

Foxes operate at dusk and night - not in mid afternoon amongst a group of people and the thrum of activity. If the rows are checked just before the turnstiles are opened there is no excuse. We've had problems with foxes for some time. Usually they damage the pitch but recently they have taken to leaving 'fox mines' in the stands. I spotted one before a recent game and got it moved. Pre-match checks have always taken place but are being stepped up. The ground is always checked before th...
