Re: Done deal
Don't think many if any are saying its bad business turning a 20k investment into a 300k profit its excellent. To me its the timing of it. From what I've read and heard DC wasn't expecting this at all. If he fails to replace Goodwin, our chances of escaping the drop have virtually disappeared, I'm n...

Re: Done deal
Gutted for clarke But financially that is a great success for the club. Making 380 grand profit on a player in a year Stoke will get at least 25% of that. I think letting him go is bonkers. He won everything in the air, improved greatly and probably in the top three Cheltenham players of the season...

Re: Goodwin
I find all this very worrying, we appeared to have turned the corner under the leadership of DC and given ourselves a fighting chance of escaping relegation. So many players have improved since his arrival, and Goodwin most likely the one who has improved the most. I find it utter madness that were ...

Since Dale Vince took FGR over in 2010 they've gone through 13 managers of which I think I'm right in saying 10 have been sacked. Love to know what the compensation they've had to pay those 10

What a stat
Sorry if it shouldn't be in this section FGR in the year 2023 have had 5 managers (one of those being an interim manager) and between them they have mustered just 5 league wins an average of one apiece. For the year pld 48 won 5 drawn 9 lost 34. We thought we were bad at times lol. To top it all off...

Re: Tom Pett
He seems so unnoticeable on the pitch yet so influential on the team's performance As the game petered out in the last 10 mins yesterday, I made a point of just watching Pett. I think the key thing is his positional sense. He just seems to know here he needs to be to make an impact whether that's a...

Re: Cheltenham Town v Shrewsbury Town
Bradbury is the most unluckiest player in the squad. In my eyes, it's the one position we seem to have good players, and Bradbury keeps the bench warm. He gives his all his positioning is excellent, he can play a bit on the floor, and that makes up for his lack of pace. Before DC arrived it appeared...

On the Shrews fans forum
we currently have 58% possession, so the score is irrelevant apparently
Mickey Moore will be overjoyed with that stat, I expect to see him wheeled out for an interview in the morning to confirm this as a statement of our progress…

I dont know what video you watched shade, he didnt jump was more like a step and clearly elbowed him in the face not his chest. In fact im convinced he actually looked at him before elbowing him. Good job DC is the manager and has better man-management skills than you, then  If we'd gone on to lose, what we really needed was to put all the blame on a striker who has just started finding some form. As DC said after the match, he asks his players to be aggressive and get stuck in and som...

Re: Cheltenham Town v Oxford United
Great win Saturday. Amazing how Darrell has managed to get a tune out of the players. I love his no nonsense approach. I should imagine the training ground/ sessions and expectations is a stark contrast to life under Wade in terms of work rate, discipline etc. One thing I didn't like in the highlig...
