Awful is a bit strong isn't it? He was part of a Championship winning team and rarely looked out of place. The only real question was his fitness, he never seemed to last 90 mins. Agree azaz showed decent promise here,a few games stick to Mind, walsall away and even vs man city played some lovely th...

Re: Cheltenham Town v Portsmouth
Their message boards are full of claims that they should have had two pens - and, bizarrely, that their defender was 'obstructed' by Lloyd for our second. I don't think that's all that bizarre to be fair. Their player touches the ball before Lloydy jumps in front of him and makes no attempt to play...

It’s a fact that people didn’t attend because no seats were available. I know two myself! We’ve now joined this club. Had a family commitment this weekend that’s now changed so we are available for the Portsmouth game. But the CF is sold out. There are a few seats in the Main Stand but I’m 6’ 2”. A...

The thing is aswell, the open terrace on the side (cng end) could be flattened levelled out and a fairly deep,steep...covered!! temp terrace could be put there. Whilst I appreciate the majority are volunteers and cash is tight the club need to be more proactive when it comes to simple upgrades and fa...

Re: 5,941
We do seem to have a glass ceiling where we can't get over 6000 for a league game but as others have said that's very likely down to the lack of seats. If we had bigger capacity I'm sure overall attendance would have been higher tonight, is it worth maybe putting a temp stand in the paddock/canteen...

Biggest since last seasons game vs fgr I expect. 5,901 with 700 away fans.Jerry St Clair wrote: ↑29 Dec 2023, 23:21 Biggest crowd since……when? I don’t think I’ve see a Cheltenham attendance starting with a 6 since Everton in the cup.
5,200 home fans which is probably the biggest we've had in a a FL game which isn't a playoff game.

Reading have the worst away record in the league collecting just 5 points, unfortunately those 5 points have come from their last three away games so it seems they have found some form. I'm looking forward to it but feeling nervous like there's a bad performance due. Think ill go for a 1-1....5,700 ...

Yes the board have said they aren't happy with away fans having to go through the club car park to reach the away end,can only assume with the amount of home/away fans that mix although we do it at Bristol rovers/port vale. Also there's no easy dividing line underneath the Colin farmer to be able to...

We played some of the best footy I've seen under mike duff in playoff season and what I did see of the championship season.
Had to be mixed up abit more once we reached league one but over all i thought we had entertaining football throughout most of his tenure.

Once Lloyd is up to full fitness he'll be the no1 striker imo,its who's picked to partner him. He will play off any other striker we have at the club and put in the required work rate, he's alot more Mobile than the rest. I'm glad most seem happy with this. Who got MotM, btw? Didn't hear an announcement and didn't see anyone get awarded it at the end. I'd have given it to Freestone again, with an honourable mention to Street for effort. Agree with freestone,4 or 5 very good blocks throwing himself infront of the ball and just all round solid. As for k...

Imo we need a big unit who can deal with the long balls we will be firing up to our strikers, can win it hold it up and get us up the pitch and hopefully get keena or street firing.
Another small striker chasing long balls is not what I want to see.

They've not conceded in two games. Unfortunately Saturday goes down as one of those games where its a bonus if we pick anything up. Re: Wade Elliott after Birmingham defeat
I've seen both games sofar and both are pretty worrying tbh.
Never expected to beat brum but still we should have spells where we have a go at atleast look competitive, we had 5 mins after half time where we done this.
The rest of the game we looked slow,no plan,no urgency and definitely no quality.
