Re: Wigan
Wigan Warriors are playing the World Rugby League Challenge against Penrith (the Australian champions) on Saturday at 8pm. It only became an issue when they won the Super League in October. I've done a quick look online and can't see that it's been postponed. I've seen a Sky Sports trailer for the ...

Re: Cheltenham Town v Port Vale
Just watched the whole game with the Port Vale commentary. They said that they couldn't understand how Tom Pett was allowed to leave (maybe to do with location) and wasn't picked up straight away with another club, how much George Lloyd had improved and what a nuisance he was with his pressing and M...

Melt down on the Blackpool Forum.....I did warn them ha ha...told them not to disrespect us....serves them right....they are c!#p away from home. You need a thick skin to comment on there, they love abusing anyone and everyone A very entertaining read. They certainly don't think much of Critchley o...

Re: Cambridge United v Cheltenham Town
George Lloyd works so hard we love that, but he has to add goals/assists to become a great Robin ? Creating space and chaos for others to exploit and score will do for me. And that's what he seems to be doing well. Still needs to add goals to his game...... But for poor refereeing, he should have t...

Re: Game off (Burton)
Is the delay a good or bad thing for us? Extra few days to work with the new players. Possible 2 free dates later in the season. But is a bit annoying not to have a game to watch. No…game pile is always negative, especially when the pressure is on. I believe we could be 10 points from safety come 1...

Re: Cheltenham Town v Wycombe Wanderers
Also having two debutants in a back 3 was a high risk strategy. There was insufficient time from signing to their debuts to get any understanding between the defenders of how they will play together.

Re: League One - clubs in crisis
Things seem to be bubbling up at Swindon. Fan protests, although isolated, starting up against the owner. Suspicions about cost cutting (Liam Kinsella's move to us being a prime exhibit) unquantified spending on legal fees and, most interestingly of all, the Supporters Trust under fire for being, s...

Re: Gloucestershire football
Gloucester are doomed - they have absolutely nothing going forward. Reminds me of us at the start of the season. Could be playing Cleeve next season if they get promoted. It won’t please people to hear, but the travails of the Shire sides discussed in this thread make the case for a Gloucester-FGR ...

Re: League one January Transfers summary
Burton just loaned out Cole Stockton to Barrow, I'm surprised we were not all over that unless he only wanted to go back to the North West but Barrow to Merseyside must be a similar to distance from here to there too. Barrow do their training Manchester and travel up to Barrow for home matches. If ...

Phil Brown doesn't need the money. He and his son did very well out of the failed company Avro Energy. Re: Post Office scandal
One of the most obvious first thing to check is whether there had been keying errors at the local post office. This can be done by cross checking against a printed list of transactions to eliminate human error at the local terminal. This appears never to have been done. The immediate conclusion was ...

Re: Cheltenham Town v Shrewsbury Town
I have just watched the whole game with the Shrewsbury commentary. They were extremely critical of their own team but gave high praise to the Robins. It was summed up for them by the number of shots they have on target, zero. At the start season, I came awy from the Shrewsbury game thinking I had ju...
