Re: The rest of the season
In order to get promoted back to L1, I'm not sure L2 players are what we need.

Re: The rest of the season
Lots of criticism for Nuttall - but Taylor was probably an even bigger risk: a player who couldn't get into the starting XI of the team at the foot of the EFL. To say nothing of the length of his contract.
Some punts work, some don't - that's why they're punts, in the first place.

My pre-match routine mostly involves caffeine and ibuprofen, these days. Oh...hang on...you mean for going to the football? Sorry, that was my badminton match routine.
Yea, leave house, drive 20-odd miles to Cheltenham, park, walk in just before kick-off.

Re: Information for fans travelling to Oxford on Saturday
Hmm... Looking at the estate, I find it hard to believe anywhere will be showing the egg-chasing so I might have talked myself out of going. Not sure I want to sit and watch it on my phone in the car-park. It'll be full of despair, I'm sure - and I mean both the footy and the rugby - with the added ...

Not in the latest set of published accounts, it didn't. Ergo, that has nothing whatsoever to do with the £500k loss.

Re: NO MORE PENNY PINCHING IN L2 NEXT SEASON
Going down the cheap route hiring Wade Elliot as a replacement for Michael Duff. Harsh, considering he took us to our second ever highest finish in the EFL with more wins than under Duff. He might have been unable to stop the rot at the start of this season, but it's impossible to say that, overall...

Re: Former players
Just by chance i have found the answer to our scoring problems. Ellis Chapman slotted in 2 goals this evening in the first half!! Get him back! Mata, who several on here suggested we should buy so Keena didn't feel loanly, also found his scoring boots that he'd forgotten to pack when he went to Shr...

Agreed. I would have had either as MotM - not taking anything away from the actual recipient. Talking of which, if you haven't yet watched Kin on the BBC iPlayer, you're missing a treat: one of the beat things I've seen on TV for a while.

I read "based on average home attendance" as the average HOME attendance (I.e. not including 'away' fans) - but I guess it could be interpreted as the average attendance at home games.

Anyone else get to the sign-in page and just think 'nope' and back out...? I realise it's little more than clicking a button marked 'accept cookies', but the way it was phrased was a good reminder of what that means!

I was once told it was first adopted by GCCC fans at the Gillette Trophy final at Lords in 77 (?) - then migrated to CTFC some time after that.
