Re: The board
Buying Seasons shouldn't equate to a loss? If you spend £200k on a tangible asset, don't you then have a £200k tangible asset? -200k + 200k = 0 ? You do have an asset but an asset is balance sheet. There could be solicitors fees, interest charges etc. which not be cheap. Will look out for the accou...

Re: Robins' amazing improvement
After 11 games were 8 points behind Fleetwood in 20th.
Fleetwood at that stage had 9 points, so 0.81 points per game.
And, after 32 games Fleetwood has 26 points…0.81 per game.
They’ve stayed constant, which shows how much we have improved to be 7 points ahead after 32 games.

Thanks @Shade, really interesting reads - especially the council planning docs from 2015. From the linked “Cakebridge draft report” my eye was particularly caught by this, near the end: “3. Alternative options 3.1 Do nothing, which is not acceptable.” And yet here we are, more than 8 years later… T...

Rare factual error from Mark Halliwell and repeated by Owen. He said we had never won four games in a row in League One.
We have: JP Tweeted the other day we won four on the bounce in 2007/2008. Vale (h), Bournemouth (h), Hartlepool (a), Carlisle (h).

An example of when a new stand development goes wrong. Poor timing for them with the stand coinciding with relegation. They never recovered.

Shows how long two years is in football. Must seem a world away for Duff and Wade. Pay packets aside, is anyone involved on the pitch and in the dugout for us that night in a better place now than they were then? Perhaps The Boy if he played but that’s it? Surely Ramsey? Great point. Completely for...

When it was first mentioned, I thought the hotel idea was some sort of joke. In Whaddon?? Now, a couple of HMO's, sure - I could see that. But it's not really the same thing. What about a development where the car park side is a row of shops and maybe a gym? A franchised food outlet, bookies that d...

I'm still staggered Huddersfield took him. I mean, I loved the guy while he was playing for us but he was never Championship standard. And now it seems he's barely L2 standard anymore (not that I've watched him play at all since he left us). Wrong thread Shade?! [emoji23] Absolutely no idea how tha...

Just get our required wins asap then we can sit back and watch the pack battle it out to the death.
Could be a situation where a team goes down on the last day who haven’t been in the relegation zone all season.

Vale lose their game in hand over us at Reading. Reading now onto 38 points, along with Cambridge, who lost at home to Notlob. Us on 32, Charlton on 33, Shrews 35, then 4 teams on 38. Wigan next on 40, then two in that group on 38, and then it's Charlton... Hold onto your hats, boys and girls. Hats...

And what are the chances of us buying the ground from the council...? We tried too but it about 15 years ago but couldn't finance it at the time so ended up with a hundred year lease. Unfortunately for us (these days), SC knows what's bullshit and what is not and part of his deal was probably that he has a large say over the running of the club, the way things are structured. No doubt he doesn't want a DoF or probably a head of recruitment, or whatever they call it, either. Migh...

6 wins from 15 games will do it because I’m sure there will be a draw or two. 52 points will be enough.
