A Stoke supporting friend of mine says "could be a useful signing. Played a few minutes for the 1st team. It would be great for him to be playing in league 1. He needs toughening up".

Unsurprisingly, no extension to the loan and he's going back to Stoke in January MD has confirmed. Never felt like this was going to turn out great. Rarely seems to when a player isn't available immediately and can't hit the ground running.
