"But I've got no problem with there being a dialogue between fans, players and staff, because I do think we're all in it together."
Does he honestly believe this comment?

Don’t see why not. He comes across as an articulate and calm guy who is happy to discuss things in a sensible manner. Whether the fans can do the same is another matter.

I have been thinking a lot since Saturday about just who the fans were booing - was it WE or the players - or both?

What do you expect them to do write him an email expressing their discontent?

Everything I think, manager, tactics, players. In that situation you want a couple of players to step up because you can't imagine the manager is stood on the side shouting "this is good, keep it up". It isn't the managers fault the players can't string 5 passes together, when we know that they're capable. At the time I said something isn't right somewhere.

No. There’s a vast chasm of middle ground between shouting abuse and writing an email.

Please can we go out to win the game tonight. No sitting back seeing what Morecambe are made of before we start pressing and attacking. Especially if we are going to finish up goal(s) down at half time. Come on lads, let’s do it, let’s get these three points tonight!

This. We were decent vs Shrews and very good vs Bolton but we don't half look like we're missing Alfie. Not convinced on Broom playing up top in a two, we're very light in that part of the team at present.
