Yes very true. He may have realised what it takes to be a pro in the EFL and knuckled down and improved.

More likely finally signed by a Manager who gets the best out of him in his best position.

Just watching Rotherham v Leeds and briefly thought I saw a familiar face on the touchline. Had a quick check and (goalkeeper) Scott Brown is currently co-caretaker manager of Rotherham?!

Hadn't realised he went there a year ago as goalkeeper coach under Matt Taylor who he obviously worked with before.

N'lundulu on the scoresheet for Bolton, yesterday - although, frankly, who wasn't...?

He also gave away a penalty.

First league goal of the season after 17 matches for him so not just Keena struggling to find the net

Case in point. Not much use assisting if the team loses 4-2 due to be out battled and not keeping shape.

Crowley may have featured l in Wade Elliot’s teams this season but Darrell Clarke would have him no where near the first eleven.

It was the seventh of seven goals and he celebrated it like it was a 90th minute winner in a big cup match, sprinting around and slapping the badge (like he did for us). Embarrassing.

Atangana! Elastic legs, but a bit fragile. From memory we wanted to keep him but he decided to go to Exeter.

Wes Burns scored one of the goals of the season for Ipswich, 2nd in the Championship, on Saturday. 25 yard curler with the outside of his right boot after cutting in off the wing.

Love Nige. Spot on about the injuries. Think he falls into the James Olayinka “There’s a player in there somewhere” category.

But then I thought there was a player in Emmanuel Onariase, so what do I know?

Just noticed Kyle Vassell playing for Kilmarnock against Celtic today. 8 goals in 17 games for Kilmarnock

Seems to happen every season to Dan. He never seemed fully fit when with us.

Great comeback from 0-2 down against Woking ( Rohan Ince in their squad.) to score an extra time penalty and win 3-2 for Weston super Mare in the FA Trophy with Ruben Reid and ex Ctfc youngster Keiran Thomas featuring.
This despite a Max Harris mistake being punished according to Ian Randall on comms.
Lovely away trip to Gateshead is their reward.

A couple of different decisions and a bit of luck not getting that broken leg against Germany just as his career was getting to that crucial point, and he'd have been number 1 for a top PL team and England for the last 4 or 5 years. Good to see he's finding some limelight again.

And a nice little reminder about what a phenomenal record we've had recruiting quality goalkeepers over the last decade or so:

Butland
Brown
Carson
Phillips
Flinders
Griffiths

Might be able to get a move up a level to a decent Championship club if he keeps this up.

Finn Azaz with 2 goals and an assist for Plymouth. Was decent for us without standing out much - good to see him doing well in the Champ.

Sam Foley scored for Barrow at Swindon.
Sam’s had a reasonably good career after leaving us without ever making a first team appearance.
He’s 37 now, and he played for Gary Johnson when Yeovil were in the championship 10 years ago.

Andy Williams with an 83rd minute equaliser and 99th minute winner for Hereford at Gloucester today.

After Danny Wright had put Gloucester 2-1 up.

There was much glee among the old 'uns around us as news of that filtered through. The Gloucester rivalry is still burning in parts of Whaddon Road.

Taylor Perry injured and substituted against former club.....er.....Cheltenham yesterday. I actually thought he was impressive. Looked energetic and lively and presented most of the threat going forward in the first half. One of their better players (admittedly not a high bar to reach).

I thought Perry was the pick of their players (apart from their big CB who repelled almost everything and kept Street out of the game, by fair means or foul). Glad that the kiddies had stopped their ridiculous booing of him that was so evident at their place. Our other old boy, Winchester, was pretty anonymous - but he certainly got some stick.

Oddly enough, I was talking to a couple of their supporters, who were not impressed with Perry, yesterday and just in general
