Don't agree. Both were responsible for the defeat or should it be irresponsible? The finger of blame points directly at them.

Pell was in part, at fault for both goals. He didn't close down quickly enough on Walker for the first and he conceded the foul that led to the second. Then he gets himself sent off for a brain dead tackle. Sometimes, teams get results with 10 against 11 and so Angol getting himself sent off made it impossible to get anything out of the game.

Not saying they aren't to blame, but the rest of the team capitulated as well. Besides, I'm still not sure either of Angol's yellows should have been bookings, or even fouls. In both instances he's battling for the ball with his back to the defender, and the Grimsby player goes down holding his face without much proof in the way of any contact. Looked like a deliberate ploy to get him sent off that the ref easily went along with.

I think it's hard to blame the 9 for capitulating.

Grimsby were the better team with 11 (even when we were ahead), and then in around 10 mins we were down to 9. Those 9 were basically marking space for all the hope they had.
