Could this be the year we actually progress through to Round 2?
Certainly been a kind draw for us, in my opinion, now lets get some players signed and e confident we can beat Crawley.

I thought the same - what a game that was. Not seen football like that too often since.

Send the lads out..... WE NEED PROMOTION this year.

League must be priority although this is often seen as an extra pre season friendly by some managers

A good League Cup run can build momentum for promotion - look at Bradford

Didn't it have quite the opposite? If I remember correctly they were in and around the play-offs until the cup run hit and they slipped down to around 10th. They managed to recover it but I don't think their cup run gave them the momentum.

Would be nice to win, don't most of the prem teams come in in the second round?

Yep, let's beat Creepy and then beat a big boy in round 2. Remember, a home draw v one of the big(gish) boys - Liverpool? Villa? - would be a great payday and enable us to strengthen the squad.

Imagine beating Liverpool in front of the TV cameras and a full house at WR. It would give our attendances an instant boost as well.

We can but dream....
