You have to say the OG was a classic

On the way home I heard radio glos say that it was almost a record ( for us in the league) for goals conceded this season
We have let in 63 league goals third worst in the league

So we need to look at the defense
Sido not the player he was why ( no Hector or Bennett beside him)
Troy not as good as Hector or Bennett
Elliot a year older and slower also a few injuries
CBB not league standard ( not better than Jones, Jones and corners and free kicks meant goals)
Lowe better than what came in

Loans who came in - I cant even remember most, but Brundle and Ihiekwe would only be development and cover

so we need a LB and a 1st choice CB and probably a RB ( at least cover)

One of the youngster is a FB so we pribably only need one if Sido stays

Defensive midfield
If we are going to play 5 in midfield then we need 2 defensive mid field who can tackle , break up play create and have pace
if we are going to go 4-3-2-1 then at least one stand out defensive CM

Several problems everyone will be looking for these types
Secondly no point in bringing them in and then playing the diamond
Have we the money to attract

Also will our fans be happy with 1-0 wins at home or not?
I would be but will the fans

To a certain extent, yes - why not? It would make a refreshing change from going a goal up and then losing 1-2. More than anything else, I want to see an entertaining match between to teams giving their all. Great defensive displays can be as entertaining as great attacking ones. Oh, don't get me wrong, I know there will still be 0-0 bore-draws and the occasional inexplicable mistake - but I want them to be the exception rather than the norm.
