Cannot see any mention of it being all ticket on our website. Swindon's website says it is all ticket.

If Swindon sell their allocation quickly (which I suspect they will) then I would expect the match to be made all ticket based on the higher probability of Swindon fans without tickets going in the home ends on the day.Si Robin wrote:I imagine it's all ticket for Swindon fans, but there will be absolutely no need for it to be all ticket for home fans.

There is very little info at all about tickets on the website.
There was a news story post about seats being held for ST holders until 4pm today, but on the ticket page there is only out of date info about York and Stevenage.

is it still impossible to hear anything important over the pa? things never change ever.asl wrote:Jim said something about it over the PA system at HT on Saturday - alas, I didn't catch whether he said there would or wouldn't be tickets available on the gate.
Not at all helpful, I know...

I remember the hip hop group we had from Gloucestershire College of Knowledge, doing the half time entertainment a few seasons ago. I could hear every word of that little numberRalph wrote:is it still impossible to hear anything important over the pa? things never change ever.asl wrote:Jim said something about it over the PA system at HT on Saturday - alas, I didn't catch whether he said there would or wouldn't be tickets available on the gate.

From Facebook:

Supporters are advised to purchase their tickets for the Thomson and Bancks Stand and Jelf Stand for Saturday's FA Cup first round tie against Swindon Town in advance, they are selling fast!
Pop into the Whaddon Road ticket office between 10am and 4pm today and tomorrow, or call 01242 573558 (option 1)

Can't see any easily accessible info about Swindon tickets on the CTFC website for Cheltenham supporters ? And not everyone is on Facebook.
And yes the PA system is a joke most of the time.
All things that p**s supporters like me and many others off.

Sadly, the website continues to be a rather non-league affair. I'm sorry, but if - as PB says - this is a big game, why on earth is it not mentioned in the ticketing section of the official site? Instead, there is a proposed date for a possible replay. Absolutely amateur. The only tickets on sale online are for Wycombe. It is small wonder we are struggling to get people through the turnstiles - not only do we not have a very large marketing reach, we also apparently don't seem to want to sell tickets in a convenient and simple manner at all. The club are urging people to buy seats in advance (after all, they're 'selling fast') but not giving them simple ways to do so. People use the internet. CTFC - for the love of God - USE THE INTERNET PROPERLY. No wonder so many people think of us as 'non-league'.

Apologies if the information on the website has not been clear in the build-up to the Swindon game.
The match is not all-ticket and tickets are not available online - they can be bought in advance from the ticket office (10am to 4pm tomorrow), over the phone without a booking fee (01242 573558, option 1), or on the day.

I will be doing my best to ensure the information is more readily available from now on.

It's not that the information is unclear ; it is lacking. This led me to search Swindon's website which has repeatedly stated the match is all ticket.
The lack of clarity is unfortunate, avoidable and potentially costly. Surely we can do much better with the website ?

A handful maybe but not 500! The last game a Swindle fan came in the C&G and had to be escorted out by stewards for his own safety.Shade wrote:You're not expecting any to go into the home areas if they sell out their 1500 then?Robin wrote:Won't be 2000 from Swindle simply because the maximum amount of away fans is 1500.

now totally confused. Thread full of folk telling me how the price hike has resulted in a mass swindle boycott, now we have same / similar folk telling me they will have to spill over into the home end. Please explainRobin wrote:A handful maybe but not 500! Lot of complimentary tickets floating around it seems, already been offered 4 by text today. At least Cheltenham will have bums on seats, even if not fully paid for.

And, it seems, they've failed to sell their allocation. Tickets went off sale at Swindon and lunchtime.Robin wrote:Won't be 2000 from Swindle simply because the maximum amount of away fans is 1500.

Have my tickets but there's no seat numbers. I assumed being a ST holder that it would be same seats, as I took me ST books when bought tickets. Is it sit anywhere do you know?Jon Palmer wrote:Apologies if the information on the website has not been clear in the build-up to the Swindon game.
