3.5 year deal! Blimey…with all due respect, if they get promoted they are going to be looking to offload or pay-off with a fair bit of contract left. Don’t blame him one bit, and I certainly don’t blame CTFC for not offering a new deal of any kind.

Cheltenham said they wanted to keep me, but they didn’t do anything to try and keep me.

Where are you seeing 3.5 year deal? If that's the case that's mad but congrats to Hussey

A “big” deal, no doubt more money than he’s currently on. But I doubt it’s for 3.5 years.

Are you suggesting JP is wrong when he says it is 3.5 years then?

What, this bit?
He has agreed to join League Two promotion-chasers Port Vale for an undisclosed fee after three-and-a-half years at the Jonny-Rocks Stadium.
Unless it's changed since originally being posted, of course...

Good luck Chris. You’re a Robins good ‘un.

Hope the daily commute up the M5/M6 to Burslem isn’t too onerous for you. Not for me thank you.

Adios Chris. One of our best left backs ever.

I'm sure it said on a three and a half year deal earlier. I did read it just a couple of minutes after it was published so maybe it was edited afterwards, but I'm not ruling out that I mis-read it.

No it always said he'd been with CTFC for 3.5 years

Same. I read it several times on website and app! I even went back to check it was the second sentence rather than just the second paragraph!

It's an 18 month deal according to JP on twitter.

So same contract length he was on here, but obviously the wage is higher. Still cant blame him at this stage of his career.

Good to know someone else is either seeing things or it was in fact changed

Certainly did not say he was given a 3.5 year deal anywhere in that article at any point!

Money aside I cant see why Hussey would want to play under DC over MD

According to MD, Hussey went in and told him a couple of weeks ago he wanted to leave. Things not always as they seem, eh.

Yes seems it was brewing well before the official approach from PV
