Stewart leads the way on 19. Some others on 18, 17 and 16. May on 15. Can he catch them?

Be great to have a 20+ goal man whether he does or not.

All these years we've been wanting the fabled 20 goal a season man, and here he finally (maybe) is.

Mad that over 50% of his league goals have come in the past four games though.

May on 17.

The top six are:

Stewart (Sunderland) 22
Smith (Rotherham) 18
Stockton (Morecambe) 18
Taylor (Oxford) 18
Keane (Wigan) 17
May (Cheltenham) 17

I doubt anyone can catch Stewart but it would be great for Alfie to be best of the rest.

Also, CTFC are the top scorers of all teams from 12th to 24th.

Can imagine some interest in Alfie so it's critical we have him tied down now on a long term deal.

probably a market value of nearing £1million so expect bids of anything up to £75k

I do wonder what sort of fee we'd expect now, certainly it needs to be one of the biggest we've ever received for us to consider it. Take out his goals and we'd be in the relegation scrap so got to be worth big money. How much did Eisa go to MK Dons for in the summer was it £650,000? Probably similar for Alfie if someone wanted him.

All I ever heard for Eisa was "worth up to £1m" or so.

If anyone asks about May then we should tell them £2.5m is the asking price.

Stockton 19
Taylor 19
Smith 18

Come on Alfie, fill your boots vs Wimbledon and break that 20 goal barrier next week.

Alfie May is the leading goal scorer in league one on the road, but one other thought hes not our penalty taker, as are many of the leaders in the goal scoring charts

Fair point - he scored the one at Wimbkedon didn't he, but other than that he's probably more or less top scorer minus pens.

Alfie will be sold in August . Charlie Brown and George Lloyd will step up.

I disagree. I think he will fire us to a play off push.
