Good luck Scotty. You're a Robins good 'un in my book.
Up there with some of the very best.

Gary Johnson's last great signing - came in when we were struggling in goal (Jon Flatt clearly not up to the standard) and you could tell instantly that he was a calm, reliable pair of hands. Just the way he commanded his box was a step above what had been there beforehand.

I certainly wish him all the best going forward.

Interesting thought. How many of the Cham21ons squad were GJ signings?

Incorrect Si Robin.
The following players were all signed by Gary J, the best part of a year after Flinders, in the summer of 2018.
Thomas, Tozer, Hussey, Broom and Long. I'd say those five were all great signings.
Flinders joined 31st August 2017.

Until we see who we are going to bring in I'll reserve judgement but at the moment it looks a strange decision to release Scott and put Owen on the transfer list.

Both are solid performers at this level and continuity at this most important of positions is crucial to being able to build a solid defence. We could do a lot worse than those two but who knows there may be a master plan in place, Josh Griffiths back from WBA maybe?

Cos he's a decent keeper and apparently is available for loan again?

Saying all the right things as players do.

Wish him well.
He's someone who could have had an even better career, a little like Jack Butland.
Tough being a keeper!

It's easy to forget how low his stock had fallen when we signed him. York and Macclesfield fans thought it was hilarious that we were giving Flapper Flinders a deal.

Fair to say that he proved them all wrong.

Pretty sure his nickname was 'Butter', wasn't it...?

I'm sure I saw both - Butter does make more sense though.

The point stands.
