Hardly inspiring that we are looking at a player released by Newport but we do need big target men so no real harm in it I guess.

Fisher looked half decent about four years ago but sorry it’s another “no thanks” from me.

Yeah I was going to say if it was 3 years ago, we were in L2 and he looked decent, I'd have said sign him on but the article says he's training with Cheltenham "while he looks for a new club". If he does well and looks the part then maybe he will get an offer but it reads like there's little chance he will actually get a deal here.

It also says Opi Edwards is set to sign for a L2 club, so probably similar situation with Fisher. Also Sellars is injured again and unlikely to get a deal.

The article says it all: “He is due to train with the Robins in the coming days, primarily to build his fitness while he looks for a new club.”

No reason why he cannot do a job like Andy Williams. Worth a look anyway.

Worth a look? He’s scored 4 goals in League 2 in the
last three seasons. And he’s 32 this week.
No thanks.

Just as well we're not looking at him then

JP saying Fisher is playing at Evesham tomorrow.
But with Alfie out recovering from his op (and probably on his way soon anyway) and only Lloyd and Brown and the two young lads on our books at this time he might as well have a game.

The squad right now is very threadbare and needs and injects of 3-4 quality players into the starting eleven. I hope Mickey can work his magic and we have some new players in next week.

Did nobody else see what Wade said at the end of his interview with JP the other day. He actually said we need one or two more players in. If that is the case then we are done for.
