I know they've spent vast portions of their history in Bristol but it has never sat right with me that they don't play in the County! We're a big county, 900,000 strong and yet we haven't really got our *own* cricket club.

That part of Bristol was in Gloucestershire before 1974 when they created the county of Avon.
