Thompson not in the squad, presumably injured, so no proper midfielders on the bench.

Freestone and Street back in for Smith and Keena. Williams fit enough for the bench, Ferry starts.

Thompson pulled up in the last minute last Saturday. Looked like a hamstring to me. Could be a while.

It's refreshing to see us set up to win these sorts of games. Not seen anything yet to suggest we can't get something here.

Of course. I saw that and mentioned it here but forgot

Good first quarter. Shame Lloydy's two efforts have been blocked/saved.

Wow, everyone seemed very slow to react to the obvious medical emergency in the stand.

About 12 minute delay so far and it doesn't look any closer to a restart yet. Still lots of hi-vis jackets around where the person is. Obviously, I shouldn't need to say that football doesn't matter right now.

Hoping the medical emergency is resolved and the person is ok.

Bolton have been poor so far, very sloppy in possession. Haven’t troubled us so far. The back 3 match up physically but I worry if Bolton start going down the sides that we lack pace.

Got to feel a bit sorry for Smith who’s been very good since coming back from injury in the RCH role.

JP has reported CPR was being given. Still no major movement of hi-vis jackets in the area.

Looks like the person is now being taken away on a stretcher. From the applause, it sounds like they might be still with us. Although they were running with the stretcher so it seems like it's critical.

Announcement over the PA, basically to say critical time, decisions being made, will let everyone know what's happening soon.

I hope this break does not give Bolton the time to reassess the tactics

I wondered why the game was still in the 29th min. I figured it was a bad injury but sounds even worse than that 😬

Well, now been 30 minutes since the game was delayed. How long does it go before they PP?

With this and away at Portsmouth, we must be the most delayed professional team in England this season.

Fingers crossed for them, I don't think abandoning the game is on the cards?

Meanwhile looking like the protests at Reading could mean abandonment and their forums are moaning about how there's no coverage of them.....wheres my tiny violin

"Announcing next steps in a couple of minutes", says the PA.

I'm amazed iFollow actually had the graphics up before announcement was made in the stadium. Obviously thoughts with the person and their family.

Big shame for us given how the first 29 minutes went.

No rhyme nor reason as to why the match should be abandoned. If Bolton had been 2 up, it would have been a different story

It’s abandoned, not postponed.
A postponed match does not start.
If a match starts and is not completed it’s abandoned.
Thoughts with all those affected.

Think before you speak next time.

How about with the medical staff dealing with the incident they do not have enough doctors etc. for the game to continue?

It’s just awful for a human being to type this. Is football ‘A matter of life and death’? - absolutely not 😢

Meanwhile, looking around the other grounds, Carlisle are losing, Exeter are losing, Fleetwood are drawing and Reading's game will probably be abandoned too with another points deduction, I'd have thought.

And Portsmouth are 3 down at home to Orient

And of the teams we're chasing down a few spots above relegation, Wigan are losing, Burton aren't playing for some reason, and Cambridge are the team drawing with 24th placed Fleetwood.

I wouldn't be surprised unfortunately, the way they were all running with the stretcher to the ambulance, which never happens usually.

Apparently, Bolton fans are saying he was brought back twice with a defibrilator in the stands.

Thoughts very much with his loved ones.

Hi all, Bolton fan here. Must say your fans that were at the game were class acts. New found respect for Cheltenham, really hope something can be sorted for when the game does get played in terms of transport for the fans etc. Must also say for the 25+ minutes the game was being played you were brilliant, completely different team to early on in the season. Fingers crossed you stay up and hope those who went to the game get home safe.
