Peterborough 77% possession, 9 shots to Vale’s 1.
Expect a 1-1 draw.

That second goal drops Vale back down below Burton on goal difference.

Amazingly, it’s perfectly possible that this time next week we can be out of the bottom four.

A win last night and we’d be on cloud nine.

Yep. And amazingly it’s still in our hands as it stands even with the p!ss poor start and current form…… says a lot for L1 this season.

Problem is to win a match we need to score a goal and to do that we need to get a shot or header on target.

Roll on Saturday which is another " biggest match of the season" ....until Tuesday when Burton will become "the biggest match of the season"

A very pleasing result. Posh are looking unbeatable at the moment. Have they got any of the other relegation strugglers that they can take easy points off……….?

As it stands they’ll overtake Derby if they win their two games in hand and improve their GD by six, and then get automatics if they beat Bolton on the last day.

Posh are four points behind Bolton with a game in hand. So we could be in a situation where they have to beat us by three goals to keep their automatic hopes alive…
