…at half time in tonight’s matches: we’ll be trekking up to Steve Cotterill’s New Lawn next season.

I don’t get your comment RCS. All the results are going our way, just need Derby to beat Reading and it’ll be a clean sweep of perfect results!

My comment was referring to the fact that FGR are winning, so at the time of writing they were outside of the relegation area and we were in the relegation area in the as it stands tables.robinsrule wrote: ↑12 Mar 2024, 21:01 I don’t get your comment RCS. “As it stands” being the key phrase, and it is different from “what could happen in the future.”

Fair enough, I thought you were referring to League One scores.

Other teams are doing their bit to keep CTFC in L1. Honestly could not have hoped for a better set of results tonight.
Sounds like Charles Breakspear dropped two huge clangers (a red card and a penalty) at Pride Park to give Derby the win over Reading.

The " as it stands" discussion during games and on commentaries is complete rubbish. No points are awarded until the game is over.
It isn't complete rubbish if you want to know, during the games, whether you want the scores to stay the same or change.horlickfanclub wrote: ↑13 Mar 2024, 11:43 The " as it stands" discussion during games and on commentaries is complete rubbish. No points are awarded until the game is over.

You could make the same argument about literally any discussion on here.horlickfanclub wrote: ↑13 Mar 2024, 11:43 The " as it stands" discussion during games and on commentaries is complete rubbish. No points are awarded until the game is over.
Seen the highlights - those decisions were indeed massive howlers, and Derby's first goal was offside too!Jerry St Clair wrote: ↑12 Mar 2024, 21:51 Other teams are doing their bit to keep CTFC in L1. Honestly could not have hoped for a better set of results tonight.

The refs in this league favour the teams at the top/those with bigger followings and no-one will ever convince me otherwise.

Could I? Do "literally any" discussions involve fantasy? No.Jerry St Clair wrote: ↑13 Mar 2024, 16:07You could make the same argument about literally any discussion on here.horlickfanclub wrote: ↑13 Mar 2024, 11:43 The " as it stands" discussion during games and on commentaries is complete rubbish.
