I wonder if we'd go for someone we know well...

Why? It's very much in our financial interest to see him develop into a good player at Everton.

Some of our fans seem to target local players for unfair stick.

Really which players have been targetted for unfair stick? I always feel as though our players and manager get a very easy ride.

One local lad who still gets criticised despite a good career in higher divisions is Martin Devaney.

Burge has an attitude problem, Foley unwanted, Zak and Hanks 'need to be brought through gently' like they are delicate flowers etc etc.

RCS I dont think anyone has said bring Zack through like a delicate flowers. Some have wanted him in and starting others have said hes not ready
As for Hanks the question is when is he going to get his chance or should that be if

All signs point to Shaquille Coulthirst from Tottenham. Played in their Europa League campaign, then went on loan to Orient and Torquay.
