Having been robbed of the penalty to beat FGR with the last kick of the game on Saturday, they succumbed to a 97th minute equaliser last night.
Still no wins, but worryingly looking closer to winning than we are.

Really? We hit the bar and missed a penalty last night. I'd say that's pretty close to winning - in fact about as close as you can get without actually doing so. We also came back from behind, twice. So more good signs.
Morecambe had, what, two shots on target, and scored with both of them?

It was a very disappointing performance really, and we still dominated, which just shows that we should have picked up 3 points and done our goal difference the world of good. We had Mullins (I think) first half header from a corner kept out of the top corner by Roche, Varney hit the bar, Barnett's long ranger saved in the bottom corner, a penalty from the resulting corner, and Mullins Volley over at the back post early in the second half as well as all of the poor crossing and slow play around the outside of their box. We looked a much bigger threat with Maddox on the right, I only wish he was up against Cranston in the first half before he got moved into midfield - he would have destroyed him. Dawson only had a go at him once, left him for dead, but every other time tried to cross early.
Morecambe had 2 shots on target (and in total I think) and 2 goals up until about 75 mins when we were a lot more open. They had 2 or 3 after that that were blocked or saved. They also had the free kick that must have missed by all of an inch.

I thought we didn't play badly against Lincoln but they were much better than us clearly and had the most solid team I have ever seen at WR, the two centre backs looked a forehead taller than Barnett! The best team that came to us in the conference was Braintree where the Cowley's were at previously so I'm not really that surprised.
Yesterday was different and at times we were bad and made them look an ok side which they are not, apparently they had a lot of injuries too which makes it even harder to take, I know we've had our own injury problems but we've got to be beating teams like that especially at home and I don't mean that in a disrespectful way there should be a decent L2 team out of the squad we have. It's a massive task for Duff having to pick up the mess that Johnson made and I just hope that results aren't far away now because if we'd have played a half decent side last night like Mansfield for example we would have been picked off in that second half on the break.
