Another huge six pointer as Accrington host Tranmere. What is the best result for us here?

Tranmere win and I think they are out of the relegation scrap at least for a few weeks. Accrington win would see them move above us. Of the two Accrington are the more likely to go down at the end of the season but for now I feel better to keep more teams in it so a draw strikes me as best.

The bookies have Tranmere at 20-1 for the drop so perhaps they are in a false position. Accrington are 7/2 4th favourites.

Forget about it. Doesn't matter. We're only 12 points off the top of the table having beaten top and drawn at 5th (now 8th). Even Salford, now 3rd, only drew with us late on, and that's when we were really bad.

Let's ignore MK and Grimsby ever happened

In seriousness, a draw would be best. Want every team to take points off each other.

Only 7 points off top half which, with a positive January transfer window, doesn't seem that unreasonable. Didn't even look at top but 12 points doesn't seem that much with so much of the season left.

Yes, getting carried away a bit.

But yes, agree with Shade teams drawing against it each other will be best whether they're above or below us. Keep the league tight.

When I read the headline, I was expecting something about the game against Tottenham!

I had forgotten we are even playing but that's a dead rubber and we will field a full reserve team so we are fresh for Bradford.

I assume it will be the same as the last game in this competition except Day will be in goal as Diallo is playing in a FA Youth tie. It will interesting to see if the Robins play the passing game like yesterday as I expect Spurs to play in a similar way.

Unless there's clear advantage to us, in one of the teams winning, I would always go for the draw.

With 3 pts up for grabs, a draw means that 1 pt is lost to our rivals for ever.

I assume neither Bakare or Tustin will be playing either, having since been loaned out.

All good fun to speculate, but really, at this stage of the season, you have to concentrate on your own results. Let's get those 12 wins and 12 draws and depending on how many games are left, we can start checking results from other games.

I think Tustin and Supuru can both play, unsure on Bakare given he's a level higher than Harry.

Perfect result for us right now, Accrington dominated and missed a penalty too.
